Case for reviving Applepedia

There are some topics that would benefit from a wiki treatment that wouldn't fit well in Wikipedia, such as:

secure virtual memory is not treated on WP, and would be hard to treat well because of the poor documentation of the feature.
Pages outlining the bestiary of mac discussion, eg. John Gruber, John Siracuse, Rixstep, etc.: decent treatment of such folks is hard to do on WP because of editorial policy of living folks. There's room for Applepedia to carve out a niche ehere, if only because there isn't enough money here for anyone to sue...
