System Preferences

System Preferences is where you set the options for your operating system. It contains all the preference panes for the system software, and any user-installed panes.

Tips and Tricks

  • Right-click on a user-installed preference pane and select Remove to uninstall it.
  • Multiple displays
  • You don't even have to click particularly close to an icon in the main pane; it's one of the few places where click-detection isn't per-pixel.
