Subpixel anomalies are when a pixel on an LCD is broken.

How many need to be broken to get it replaced?

According to a document leaked by ThinkSecret, Apple will replace your LCD if you have:

  • More than 3 pixels stuck in a bright state
  • More than 5 pixels stuck in a dark state
  • A combination of more than 7 pixels stuck in a bright or dark state.
