Does the PowerBook support PCMCIA (aka PC Card) cards?
Yes, only the 15" and 17" though.

That's not really a question. Anyway, recent revisions of the G4 Powerbook include the Apple Motion Sensor or "sudden motion sensor" used to detect a sudden fall (and bring the hard drive to a halt to prevent damage). It's possible to use it to detect the current orientation of the laptop and use that as input.
