Pages
From Applepedia
Pages is a desktop publishing tool that comes in Apple's iWork software package. It is not quite a competitor to Word--Word is more of a word processor, and is more suited for long documents. Pages is better for short documents such as flyers, pamphlets, resumes, and letters. To this end, Pages includes 40 document templates for brochures, stationary, newsletters, etc.

Format Support
Pages can import Word documents, Adobe Acrobat (PDF) documents, AppleWorks documents and RTF files. It can export to all of those formats save Appleworks, as well as HTML and plain text. Out of the box you cannot import .EPS images for logos and such, this is fixed in the first update however.
