Will installing RAM void my warranty?

No, RAM is user serviceable. It's easy to install on most Macs, with the exception of the Mac Mini (which requires a putty knife).

My graphics card is from the 80s! Will it work with Core Image?

Just like Quartz degrades when you don't have a Quartz Extreme graphics card, Core Image is expected to degrade when you have a worse graphics card. Some effects will run on the processor instead, and some effects may be disabled.

I'm using a PC keyboard, but the ⌥ and ⌘ keys are swapped!
