Category:PowerBook series
From Applepedia
The PowerBook 100 was Apple's first successful laptop (after the failure of the Mac Portable). It has a revolutionary laptop design, with a trackball in front of the keyboard, and armrests beside it. Many modern laptops have based their design on the original series of PowerBooks.
The name "PowerBook" has no relation to the "PowerPC" processor chip, like in "PowerMac".

Tips and tricks
All PowerBooks from the G4 and on have the same power adapter. They also share the same power adapter as modern iBooks. Power adapters from the PowerBook G3 series can be made forwards-compatible with later PowerBooks and iBooks with an inexpensive adapter.
